This is the story of the Costeniero Family, and it all started with Maria Stefania: hence the name CMS. Founded in 1989 as a small drilling and threading business, over the years it became the gold standard for manufacturing one particular type of mechanical component: couplings. As time went by, the children joined the family business, demand became more specific, machinery and personnel were implemented and thus the company’s grand transformation, thanks to the addition of a new crafting laboratory, began in earnest.

We manufacture mechanical components for third parties in various industries. Milling and turning is our core business, but we also handle other kinds of processing. The true strength of CMS lies in our ability to customise and optimise production, which goes from taking on a client’s design all the way to creating a genuinely custom-made part.

A prestigious historical context.
Our workshop is nestled in the historical building complex of the former Fabbrica Saccardo, a site of great industrial archaeological interest within Schio, a place possessing a rich industrial foundation. From an environmental standpoint, the laboratory is located near the Tretto Plateau, at the entrance of the picturesque Orco Valley, which at one time supplied power to our machines. It is an area steeped in history, passion for craftsmanship and a love for developing the land. How fortuitous, then, that the street name itself should be Progresso.
